Microblading - Everything you want to know about microblading

Light microblading is a permanent pigmentation technique that creates long-lasting and beautiful eyebrows. The technique uses extremely thin incisions to create hair-like lines. Light microblading is a permanent makeup/semi-permanent tattoo that lasts 6-12 months depending on skin type. If you want to maintain the result, you need to have your eyebrows reinforced 6-12 months INSIDE.

WHAT IS LIGHT MICROBLADING:

Light microblading can be used to create eyebrows for someone whose own eyebrows are weak or completely absent. The technique can complement existing eyebrows and make them more expressive and fuller.  The word light in this case does not mean invisible, but the technique guarantees the most natural result. Correctly done eyebrows disappear from the skin.  completely in about a year. The end result is not permanent, and eyebrows require regular maintenance. Eyebrows must be maintained with reinforcement every 6-12 months, depending on skin type.

After the treatment, the final result is always 20-40% darker than the healed eyebrows. Eyebrow healing takes about 2 weeks, during which the surface layer of the skin heals and a scab forms on the treated area. After the scab falls off, the color may be pale and uneven, but that is part of the process. The color pigment does not rise to the eyebrows from deeper in the skin until about 4 weeks after healing. Eyebrows do not heal identically, and the healing process is individual for each client. 

NOTE! It is important that the client carefully follows the before and after care instructions, the improvement and permanence of the eyebrows is 70% up to the client. After the first time, the changes in the eyebrows are corrected in the reinforcement and the final eyebrows are only visible 4-6 weeks after the first reinforcement.

POWDERBROWS/ POWDER EYEBROWS 

Powder brows, ombre eyebrows are done with a pigmentation machine instead of 'hair' lines. Like microblading, it is permanent makeup, a semi-permanent tattoo.

Powder brows are designed individually for each client. A special tool is used to create symmetrical brows based on your facial bone structure and shape. The brow artist takes into account the client's wishes, facial bone structure, eye spacing, and skin and hair color. The brow color will lighten and soften significantly during the healing process. 

The powder brows technique can be applied very naturally and light on brows with little hair or dark and  as a more intensive result. The powder technique works really well for eyebrows that already have their own hair and you want to bring clarity to the lines of your own eyebrows and add a little extra color to the eyebrows. The powder technique is also suitable for filling in old, worn-out eyebrows. The technique is about permanent makeup/semi-permanent tattooing, which, depending on the skin type, remains on the skin for 1.5-3 years after confirmation. If you want to maintain the result, you need to have your eyebrows confirmed 6-12 months IN.

COMBO/OMBRE/COMBINATION TECHNIQUE

Combo brows are a combination of light microblading and powder technique. The eyebrows are first done using the light microblading hair technique and during the treatment, pigment is added between the hairs/incisions using a pigmentation machine.

Eyebrows are designed individually for each client. A special tool is used to measure symmetrical eyebrows according to the bone structure and shape of your face. The eyebrow artist takes into account the client's wishes, facial bone structure, eye distance, and skin and hair color. The eyebrows are outlined by drawing until the artist and client are satisfied. 

The combination technique is popular, for example, if there are no own corners at all, own corners  is only partially bushy or  if you want to add pigment to certain areas or if you want a darker/more finished result for your eyebrows. 

The combination technique is also suitable for covering old pigments. The technique can be implemented in many different degrees of darkness. Powder pigmentation is reinforced with microblading reinforcement 4-8 weeks after the first application. 

MICROBLADING IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOU:

• If you are pregnant
• If you are under 18 years old
• If the person has a blood-borne disease (e.g. HIV, hepatitis)
• If the Person is IN THE MIDST of cancer treatments (must wait a year after treatment)
• If you are taking Roaccutane or any other isotretinoin medication (you must wait 6 months after taking the medication to prevent scarring of the eyebrows)
• If you are taking blood-thinning medications, consult your doctor first.

THERE IS A RISK THAT THE PIGMENT WILL NOT REMAIN:

• If a person has just started hormonal medication or a form of contraception, wait 2 months before the first treatment.  If you are breastfeeding, wait 3 months to allow hormonal changes to stabilize. Permanent eyebrows may require a third visit.

• If your skin is  very greasy, brows may require a third visit for durability.

HOW TO DO LIGHT MICROBLADING:

The treatment is two-part, and only the first confirmation is included in the price of new eyebrows. Eyebrows are designed individually for each client. A special tool is used to create symmetrical eyebrows based on the bone structure and shape of your face. The eyebrow artist takes into account the client’s wishes, facial bone structure, eye distance, and skin and hair color. The eyebrows are outlined by drawing until the artist and client are satisfied. The first hairs are drawn with a thin blade, one hair at a time. Each blade is unused and opened from a new package in front of the client. Hair-like lines are made with the blade in the outlined eyebrow area. The first lines are made without anesthesia, the lines feel like a light scratch on the skin, the purpose is to open the surface layer of the skin. An anesthetic is used in the treatment that only works on “broken” skin. It is really important that the client does not use any anesthesia in the eyebrow area before the treatment.

BEFORE BEGINNING THE ANGLE TREATMENT, THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE FOLLOWED:

2 weeks before treatment should be avoided

• AHA (alpha-hydroxy-acid) and anti-age skin care products for the eyebrow area
• Products in the corner area that contain tretinoin or vitamin A
• Intensive treatments such as laser treatments, botox, peeling or deep cleansing. 
• Do not use permanent eyebrow color before the procedure.

48H before treatment should be avoided

• Do not drink alcohol 48 hours before treatment.
• Avoid antibiotics for 48H
• Avoid painkillers such as aspirin or ibuprofen, as well as other medications that have a strong effect on the body, 48 hours before. However, we do not recommend stopping any medication that is important to your health without consulting your doctor. 

Things to avoid on the day of arrival 

• Caffeine products, they may increase blood circulation 
• Nicotine products
• Same-day blood donation
